Texas Relays

The Texas Relays were held at Austin, TX this weekend. Being back on the track with all that excitement was fantastic - only this time I was not running. The shoot went well, and it was a real treat to see some of the best athletes in the country. The best event was the men's 1-mile race. Leonel Manzano finished first, breaking the record for the event at this meet. Darren Brown finished third with his personal best timing. This is his story...

Hey, this is Darren Brown and this is absolutely an amazing clip. I have never seen this till today and it is the only video I have ever seen that captures my reaction at the moment I realize I broke 4. How can I get a copy of this?! I would love to have it for my own records.

Hi Darren,
I graduated from UT in December, and unfortunately, the only copy that I have of this video is a highly compressed file (which you see on my blog). Id be happy to email that to you. With the way blogger is set up, I cannot access any of your information - you can reach me at ranjanathomas@gmail.com
That really was an awesome race. and you are a phenomenal athlete! and I am glad you liked the video.
With kindest wishes,
Ranjana.
